To meet a growing demand for sport-utility recreational vehicles (SURVs), National RV Inc.,
Perris, California, has supplemented its existing Rage’n RVT line with a higher-priced
series of Blaze’n “ramp trailers,” tailored for a more affluent toy-hauling crowd.
The
initial Blaze’n, featuring aluminum-framed, vacuum-bonded fiberglass side walls, is a
28-foot travel trailer; 31- and 35-foot fifth-wheels are currently on the drawing board.
Interiors sport fluorescent lighting, porcelain toilets, cedar-lined closets, and one-piece
tubs and showers, plus diamond-plate aluminum accents.
More diamond-plate highlights are
featured on the exteriors, which also boast Carefree One Touch awnings, rear spotlights
with joystick controls and a ramp covered with German-made Nora Rubber Flooring.
Manufacturer’s suggested retail price on a 28-footer is $26,600.
