Remington Outdoor Foundation and National Forest Foundation are hosting the 16th Annual Sporting Clays Invitational on May 7-8 in Bedford Hills, New York, to help raise funds for the National Forest System.
On May 7, a fabulous cocktail party featuring a live auction will
be held at GlenArbor Golf Club in Bedford Hills, New York, where
participants can bid on items ranging from a Wyoming fly-fishing
adventure and a bird hunt with Tom Brokaw to high-end Remington shotguns
and rifles. Guests also will be treated to presentations by esteemed
wildlife experts Jim Fowler and Marcella Leone at this important
conservation fundraiser.
Then on May 8, guests will uncase their shotguns for a friendly
sporting clays team shoot at Pawling Mountain Club in Pawling, New York.
The Betteridge Rolex Challenge, a silent auction, gourmet lunch and
team awards presentation will round out the day.
“Remington Outdoor Foundation’s sponsorship of this prestigious
sporting clays shoot allows us to contribute to the National Forest
Foundation’s efforts to restore and enhance America’s 193 million acres
of national forests and grasslands,” said Jim Moore, president of
Remington Outdoor Foundation. “Remington Outdoor Foundation
works with partners such as the National Forest Foundation to promote
our mission of habitat management, wildlife conservation, hunting,
target shooting, and training and safety.”
“The National Forest Foundation’s
conservation successes are all founded on collaboration and
partnerships. In the Remington Outdoor Foundation we have found a
partner dedicated to helping us restore and improve thousands of acres
across our National Forests, benefiting many of the iconic species that
depend on these wild places for habitat,” said Bill Possiel, president
of the National Forest Foundation.
