Firestone Industrial Products introduces its heavy-duty Level-Rite
spring air-over-damper for half-, 3/4- and 1-ton 2001-2007 Chevrolet
pickups. Specifically designed for the front torsion bar/spring
suspension found on the 2WD and 4WD models, the new system comes in a
billet-aluminum restraining cylinder and replaces the stock shock
absorber with monotube Bilstein units. This helps level trucks that
carry a winch, bull bar or any other extra weight on the front of the
vehicle, improving ride characteristics, vehicle stability and reducing
suspension fatigue, according to the manufacturer.
The system includes everything required for a no-drill installation.
