Jeep’s 2004 four-wheel-drive models will sport a new Trail-Rated badge that will
differentiate Jeep 4WD vehicles from less-capable brands.
The Trail-Rated insignia will be
affixed to all 2004 Jeep vehicles with four-wheel drive: Grand Cherokee, Liberty and
Wrangler.
The badge signifies that the vehicles have passed offroad testing by the Nevada
Automotive Test Center (NATC), which evaluates vehicles for traction, ground clearance,
offroad articulation and water fording.
