Jayco Holds Blue Tag Sale to Celebrate 40 Years

Originally Published in Trailer Life Magazine

With an exciting Blue Tag Anniversary Sales Event currently under way, Jayco has reason to
be jumping for Jay, and other company models. The 40-year-old company proposes 40 reasons
to buy a Jayco, and it offers an opportunity for customers to win 40 nights at a KOA during
the celebration.

Beginning with two chicken coops, one barn and 15 employees in 1968, Jayco
is the largest privately owned RV manufacturer in North America today. The Jay Series
folding camping trailer, labeled “For Camping the Whole Family Can Enjoy,” combines
portability, livability and affordability.

The 1006 model measures 16 feet 9 inches in
length and opens to a comfortable 20 feet 10 inches in the campground. Featuring a
one-piece entrance door, a skid-resistant retractable step and a domed fiberglass roof with
no center seam for better water runoff, the 1006 can be towed by most mid-size SUVs and
pickups. Sleeping 6 to 8 in its double bed, king-size bed and convertible dinette, the 1006
should appeal to families who enjoy the wide-open spaces and fresh air.
