Isuzu has released its first official information on the new Ascender sport-utility
vehicle. The SUV will be built on the same platform as Chevy’s TrailBlazer EXT. The
four-wheel-drive vehicle boasts three-row seating and an available 5.3-liter V-8, which
gives it a tow rating of up to 7,200 pounds.
Isuzu’s Ascender also comes with a 10-year,
120,000-mile warranty, which is greater than the coverage offered on the GM versions.
