International Truck and Engine Corporation has created a pre-production prototype truck
called MXT, which was on display at the 2006 Chicago Auto Show in February.

The
six-passenger 4×4 Crew Cab truck has a seven-foot pickup bed and low entry height with
swing-out steps. Custom cabin features include four high-back racing seats with four-point
seat belts, tinted windows, premium sound system and carpet. With up to 300 hp, the MXT has
a gross vehicle weight rating of 14,000 pounds. The truck will be available this summer.

Other International Truck models at the show included the CXT. At 21 feet long and with a
9-foot-tall cab, it is said to be the largest production pickup in the world. The CXT is
equipped with an International diesel engine rated at 310 hp, an Allison five-speed
automatic transmission, all-wheel drive and air brakes. It offers towing, dump and tilt-bed
capability. CXT has a full-size pickup bed, bright-finish fuel tank, air tanks and vertical
exhaust.
