Infiniti has announced its new full-size SUV, which is based on the Nissan Armada, will be
dubbed the QX56. The eight-passenger QX56, powered by a 5.6-liter DOHC 32-valve V-8 engine,
will be available in two-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive models.
The new sport-ute has a
long list of standard luxury features, including a navigation system and leather-appointed
seating. Tow ratings have not been announced, but they should be similar to the Armada’s.
It will be the first Infiniti model assembled in North America and will arrive at
dealerships in the spring of 2004.
