Indiana Getting $10.4 million Grant to Retrain RV Workers

Originally Published in Trailer Life Magazine

Recently more than 1,800 workers have been laid off in Elkhart County, Indiana at Monaco
Coach, Keystone RV and Pilgrim International factories. Now, Indiana will receive a $10.4
million emergency grant to help retrain laid-off RV workers who lost their jobs. Displaced
workers can apply for the financial assistance, called an Individual Training Account, at a
WorkOne center. Eligible workers can receive up to $6,000 to enter a program to earn an
associate degree or certificate in a program connected to high-need occupations. Any
Indiana RV industry workers who permanently lost their jobs are eligible.
