Hummer expects to boost sales by up to 100,000 vehicles per year when it introduces the
downsized H3. This smaller and less costly model shares the platform of Chevrolet’s
Colorado and GMC’s Canyon pickup trucks.
The 2005 H3 will be powered by an inline
six-cylinder engine, and will be priced around $30,000 to $35,000. It should reach
dealerships in mid-2005.
