Honda Pilot Crossover Seats Eight

Honda’s Pilot is an eight-passenger
midsize crossover SUV with three rows of seats that — when properly equipped with the
factory towing package — is rated to tow a 3,500-pound trailer or 4,500-pound boat.
Available in either 2WD or 4WD, the Pilot is powered by a 3.5-liter i-VTEC V-6 engine with
Variable Cylinder Management (VCM), rated at 244 hp and 240 lb-ft of torque and backed with
a five-speed automatic transmission. Standard equipment includes remote keyless entry,
front and rear air conditioning, cruise control, side curtain airbags, and a rollover
sensor to augment the typical driver and front-passenger airbags. The Pilot was rated as a
“Top Safety Pick” by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
