A General Motors V-12 engine is almost certain to go into production as early as 2005,
according to Dr. Fritz Indra, the automaker’s executive director of advanced powertrain
engineering.
There are a number of possible applications, including the Cadillac Escalade,
which can be used for towing. The V-12 should offer excellent power. Indra added that the
V-12 is also likely to have a wide range of advanced technologies designed to boost
performance, reduce emissions and increase mileage.
