A General Motors spokesman recently revealed that the Hummer brand will offer several new
models and variations of existing models. The new products are expected to include a
smaller SUV (H4?) and a midsized (H3?) pickup. The H4 is said to use parts from a variety
of GM vehicles to control costs. In addition, there will be special-edition H2s.
Models
powered by a direct-injection turbodiesel are expected around 2008. GM is also considering
E85 fuel (a blend of gasoline and ethanol) and a hybrid version.
