Originally Published in Trailer Life Magazine

General Motors is recalling 314,000 Chevrolet Venture, Oldsmobile Silhouette and Pontiac
Trans Sport or Montana vans built in model years 1997 through 2001. The recall is to fix a
problem with power sliding doors that could cause them to open while the vehicle is moving.
Repairs will be done free of charge at dealerships. GM reported no accidents or injuries
have been caused by the problem.
