General Motors is recalling approximately 6,000 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer, GMC Envoy and
Oldsmobile Bravada midsize sport-utility vehicles, due to concerns of possible failures of
a lower control arm of the front suspension. GM wants customers who bought a 2002 Chevrolet
Trailblazer, 2002 GMC Envoy or 2002 Oldsmobile Bravada to stop driving it immediately and
is directing dealers to pick up the SUVs and loan alternate vehicles. There have been no
reports of accidents or injuries. GM has not determined a final repair yet.
