General Motors and Ford have both raised their incentive programs. Until March 1, GM is
offering zero-percent loans up to 60 months on most midsize and full-size SUVs and pickups,
along with rebates of up to $4,500 on some full-size SUVs and pickups.
The program does not
include SUV models from Cadillac and Hummer. Ford will offer rebates on the Freestar
minivan of up to $3,000 and $1,500 on full-size vans. Ford also plans to raise incentives
on F-150 pickups, although this may vary by region.
