New incentives from General Motors include early lease terminations, plus up to $2,500 off
on some trucks.
GM will give $2,500 rebates on its Silverado/Sierra full-size trucks and
Avalanche SUVs, an increase of $500. GM also is offering $1,000 rebates on vehicles that
have gone unsold for more than 120 days, through the end of the month.
Additionally, GM is
letting its customers who lease vehicles the chance to end their leases early without
penalty. This is for leases that expire between April 1 and September 2, 2003, if customers
buy or lease a new GM vehicle. This offer ends March 31.
