General Motors has recalled 86,312 of its new Chevrolet TrailBlazer and GMC Envoy midsize
sport-utility vehicles, due to concerns that they may shift out of “Park” and roll away. GM
said it has not received any consumer reports of the problem, with no injuries. The recall
includes 78,004 of the SUVs sold in the United States, including 52,338 TrailBlazers and
25,666 Envoys. The other 8,308 TrailBlazers and Envoys were sold in Canada, Mexico, Europe
and elsewhere. Owners should take their vehicle to a GM dealership for inspection.
