General Motors has officially confirmed that it will add a 7.5-liter V-12 to its powertrain
lineup. The company also confirmed a 3.6-liter V-6 that will be based on a new engine
design.
GM said the V-12 engine would produce in excess of 500 hp. It is expected at first
that the V-12 will be offered in top-range Cadillacs. The Escalade could get a version of
it, also.
