According to the latest Lundberg survey, nationwide average gasoline prices were up by
almost 11 cents per gallon over the last two weeks, leaving the average price for
self-serve regular just under $3 per gallon.
The average cost for regular was $2.995 per
gallon, up 10.73 cents in two weeks. The price was less than 2 cents below the all-time
high of $3.01 set last September. The average mid-grade price was $3.10, while premium
averaged $3.20. The lowest price was $2.70 in Charleston, South Carolina, while the highest
at $3.27 was in Honolulu.
