According to the latest study coming from J.D. Power and Associates, four-wheel-drive
production is increasing.
Power predicts that 4WD cars, trucks and crossover vehicles will
reach approximately 37 percent of U.S. production by 2008, up from 28 percent currently. To
date, 64 percent of SUVs on the road have 4WD, followed by 42 percent of pickups, 4 percent
of vans and 3 percent of cars.
