Ford filed suit against its diesel-engine supplier Navistar International because of
contract disputes. Ford claims Navistar has not met warranty cost-sharing terms and hiked
prices on the Power Stroke diesel engine used in F-series pickups.
Ford is reportedly
charging back against Navistar’s invoices for the supplier’s share of warranty repairs.
The
2007 F-Series launch has been postponed, said to be due to glitches in diesel-engine
emission controls.
