I have a child who likes to pull drawers open. I fixed the problem by mounting hook-and-loop fasteners to the backside of each drawer face and the front of the cabinet. To install, simply apply a section of hook-and-loop tape (with adhesive backing) to the inside of the drawer face, leaving the opposite portion of the material attached. Peel off the protective paper from the exposed sections of hook-and-loop material and close the drawer. This will give you the proper position for the matching hook-and-loop tape.
Now the drawers open with a heavier pull, foiling the kid’s access attempts. Side benefit: The drawers stay secure on rough roads.
