Fleetwood Announces ’08 Changes

Fleetwood Enterprises’ RV Group has announced the launch of its 2008
Wilderness, Prowler Luxury-Lite, and Terry travel trailers and
fifth-wheels. Fleetwood’s product development teams created a greater
differentiation between its core travel trailer brands, resulting in
all-new looks for model-year 2008.

“We put a lot of emphasis on the product development and planning
process for the 2008 Wilderness, Prowler and Terry brands,” said Paul
Eskritt, president of Fleetwood’s RV Group. “As key components in our RV
line-up, we wanted to ensure that these brands represented the best of
Fleetwood’s travel trailer division and highlighted the valuable dealer
feedback we gathered along the way.”

The 2008 Wilderness travel trailers and fifth-wheels meet the
needs of the value-conscious RVer, with the style and convenience
features found in higher-end trailers. Highlights include smooth
fiberglass side walls; engineered aluminum construction; all-new
exterior graphics; optional, fully enclosed chassis with heated tank;
contemporary interior decor selections; hardwood cabinet doors with
raised panels; and enlarged dinette window.

In model year 2008, Prowler took on a new name and a lighter load.
Now known as Prowler Luxury-Lite and featuring five-sided aluminum
frame construction, all 2008 Prowler travel trailer and fifth-wheel
floorplans are 100 percent half-ton towable. In addition, the Prowler
Luxury-Lite trailer is built on an Equa-Flex rubberized suspension for a
smoother ride, the dinette and queen bed are constructed in lightweight
aluminum for further weight reduction, and the rich interior decor
includes all-new furniture and window treatments.

Since 1964, the Terry travel trailers and fifth-wheels have been
synonymous with RVing; in 2008, Fleetwood pays homage to this legacy.
With a variety of floorplan selections, including several half-ton
towable options, and design features such as pass-through storage,
smooth fiberglass side walls, solid hardwood cabinet doors and optional
electric awning, Fleetwood has poised the 2008 Terry to be the fully
equipped premium travel trailer and fifth-wheel brand in its market
segment.
