Fifth-Wheels Added to Cash for Campers Program

Camping World’s popular Cash for Campers program has been expanded to include fifth-wheel
trailers and Class C motorhomes. The Cash for Campers program offers up to a $7,500 cash
incentive when current RV owners purchase a new vehicle. The program – modeled after the
government’s recently discontinued Cash for Clunkers – is focused on improving the quality
of vehicles currently in circulation as well as stimulating the economy in heavy-hit
manufacturing states such as Iowa and Indiana. “We were optimistic that RVers would respond
positively to the program and the success has been overwhelming,” said Marcus Lemonis,
Camping World’s chairman and CEO. “In a declining market, we’ve managed to outperform last
year by more than 10% in new motorhome business. As a result, we’ve decided to expand the
program into our Class C and fifth-wheell inventory from top manufacturers such as
