The number of different gasoline blends may be reduced as the federal government looks at ways to reduce fuel prices.
The Commerce Department is studying ways to reduce gasoline
prices. One possible solution would be to temporarily waive the
requirements for the special blends required in certain high-smog areas,
which could ease supply restraints and cut prices.
