EverGreen RV Company Rises From Defunct Pilgrim International

Originally Published in Trailer Life Magazine

The Elkhart Truth newspaper reports that EverGreen Recreational Vehicles, LLC, plans to
introduce its Ever-Lite brand of travel trailers in the next few months. The new trailers
will be made from an environmentally friendly lightweight composite that does not contain
formaldehyde or volatile organic compounds (VOCs). EverGreen bought tools, equipment,
office machines and prototype travel trailers at auction that had been built before
out-of-business RV-maker Pilgrim International’s closure. EverGreen will be using the
testing and prototyping already done by defunct Pilgrim International. EverGreen officials
announced during the recent National RV Trade Show in Louisville that they plan to start
building travel trailers in February or March and expect to begin making fifth-wheel
trailers after that. The workforce is expected to grow to about 100 persons. EverGreen will
be using standardization of manufacturing and automation to increase the quality of the RVs
while controlling costs. The units will come with three-year warranties, rather than the
traditional industry standard one-year warranty.
