As a way of predicting upcoming color trends, automotive paint maker DuPont tracks the most-popular vehicle colors.
Last year DuPont found that, among car owners, silver was the
favorite hue, followed by white, black, blue, gray, medium red, brown,
green, bright red and gold.
SUV and light-truck owners were slightly different with white,
silver, black, blue, green, medium red, dark green, brown, bright red
and gold taking the top spots in that order.
