Dodge Plans Magnum for Detroit Auto Show

Originally Published in Trailer Life Magazine

Dodge is planning to introduce its new Magnum at the Detroit auto
show in January 2004. Magnum will be initially available in rear-wheel
drive, with all-wheel drive available later.

The Magnum likely will come with a choice of a 3.5-liter V-6 and a
5.7-liter Hemi engine rated at 345 hp. A five-speed automatic with
semi-manual shifting will be standard. The body style will look somewhat
like a lowered Durango with two rows of seats and a moderate-sized rear
cargo area.
