The analog-to-digital transition is delayed until June 12. The vote to postpone the
changeover by four months passed in the House today, 264-158. The bill was already approved
by the Senate unanimously last week, and it now goes to the president for his approval.
Now, broadcasters must wait to replace analog TV signals with digital ones to ensure that
all Americans will be prepared for the changeover.
