DaimlerChrysler AG is recalling 769,000 1993-1994 Dodge, Chrysler and Plymouth minivans to
reinforce the steering wheel. The automaker said it has received about 70 reports of
steering-wheel damage, or about one per 11,000 vehicles. There have been no reported
accidents or injuries resulting from the steering wheels. The recall affects 679,000
minivans in the United States and 72,000 in Canada.
