Stromberg Carlson has introduced its new No Rust Louvered Tailgate for fifth-wheel
applications. The blow-molded plastic gate and its aluminum structure will guarantee years
of maintenance-free use, according to the company, and the lightweight materials give the
part a finished weight of only 25 pounds. This makes the tailgate easier to install and
creates less damage during shipping. A center pull release has been designed into the
tailgate for easy operation, and although the unit cannot be painted, it’s available in any
