Chrysler Recalling Minivans

Originally Published in Trailer Life Magazine

Nearly a million minivans have an electrical problem that could
interfere with airbag activation in the affected vehicles. Chrysler will
recall 955,000 minivans, including the Dodge Caravan and Grand Caravan,
Plymouth Voyager and Grand Voyager, and Chrysler Town and Country, all
from the 1998-2000 model years.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) says
that four people have been injured because of the problem, which
involves a part that supplies power to the driver-side airbag.

Vehicles with less than 70,000 miles will be repaired for free,
while those with more miles will have warranties extended.
