Cerberus Capital Management LLC, which owns Chrysler, is reported to be actively trying to
sell the automotive firm and is said to be in talks with General Motors. Chrysler may be
broken up with various parts going to different auto manufacturers. Chrysler’s minivan line
and Jeep division might go to G.M. along with its hybrid models that were recently
announced. Renault wants to re-enter the North American market and is said to be in
discussions with Cerberus for Chrysler’s dealer network.
