Chrysler has extended its offers of interest-free loans for some new vehicles to January 8,
2002. General Motors and Ford already extended their offers to January, as the companies
attempt to boost new-vehicle sales. While zero-percent financing has garnered a lot of
attention, only approximately 15 percent to 25 percent of buyers qualify for and make such
purchases.
