Captain’s Chair Storage

Originally Published in MotorHome Magazine

We have a Class A on a Ford chassis with a sloped doghouse. We wanted a place to store things between the two captain’s chairs so we bought an inexpensive bed serving tray, and simply folded one leg up and out of the way. You could attach it to the doghouse with clamps, but we like it to be portable.

You may need to add rubber tips to the bottom of the extended legs to keep the tray from moving while you drive, and a brace on the legs to keep them from folding back in. It’s cheap and works great.
