California Park Wins Hospitality Award

The National Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds (ARVC) presented the highest honor
that a park can attain, naming Orangeland Recreation Vehicle Park Inc., located in Orange,
California, as “Park of the Year” in the “medium park” category (101 to 250 sites). In
presenting the award, ARVC President and CEO David Gorin stated that owner Eldredge “El”
Welton has demonstrated not only determination and creativity in Orangeland, but is also
committed to working for a better industry. Located five minutes east of the Disneyland
Resort, Orangeland features 212 sites. All sites include full hookups, up to 50-amp
electrical service, telephone hookups and cable television. Built on the site of a
commercial orange grove, the park was designed to preserve as many of the orange trees as
possible. Guests are encouraged to pick and enjoy the Valencia oranges from trees
