Sharing many components with its Saturn Outlook and GMC Acadia cousins,
Buick’s upscale new large crossover vehicle is quieter and more refined
than many other competing models. Performance is assured by a 3.6-liter
DOHC 24-valve VVT V-6 rated 275 hp and 251 lb-ft of torque, backed by a
six-speed automatic transmission. Choose from front-wheel or all-wheel
drive. Standard features include seating for seven, HID headlamps, fog
lamps, climate control, power windows/locks/mirrors, power front seats,
liftgate, heated outside mirrors, keyless entry, MP3/CD six-speaker
audio, and XM satellite radio. There’s nearly 19 cubic feet of storage
behind the third row seat. Safety features such as StabiliTrak, ABS and
electronic traction control provide greater confidence.
Base price ranges from $32,790 for a front-drive CX to $36,990 for
an all-wheel-drive CXL. Tow ratings are 2,000 pounds for all models.
