BMW will soon introduce the world’s first luxury hydrogen-powered car, and it will eventually be imported to the United States.
BMW has concentrated on developing an internal combustion engine
capable of burning gasoline or hydrogen. The engine is a 260-hp V-12
and, when running on gasoline, it will get approximately 15 mpg in the
city and 22 mpg on the highway.
The model will be made available as a 7-Series.
