Actron AutoScanner

is the check-engine (MIL) light. This is particularly true with tow vehicles that have been
modified and/or tow heavy trailers. To that end, Actron has introduced its latest
AutoScanner CP 9575 OBD II and CAN scan tool.

The AutoScanner can display (and erase) more
than 15,000 generic and manufacturer-specific diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and
definitions, along with six modes of OBD II data, and show freeze-frame data (snapshots of
vehicle data at the time of the fault). With live data stream, you can view sensor, switch
and actuator inputs in real time with the engine running. If you have state emissions
testing, you can check and view I/M monitors, pending DTCs and read and display VIN number,
CVN and Cal ID, display state OBD check status and drive-cycle mode. AutoScanner plugs in
to all 1996 and newer vehicles and can be updated via a USB port. At $120 retail, it
delivers pro features at a DIYer price; in fact, you can own it for what many shops charge
for just one use of their scan tool.
