AAA Wants Congress to Cut Funds That Support Trails

Hiking local trails is one of the highlights of RVing. However, the American Automobile
Association (AAA) wants Congress to cut funds that support trail, biking and walking
programs in order to funnel that money to the highway system. If you’d like to object to
the diversion of these trail funds, go to the Rails
to Trails Conservancy website and sign the petition letting AAA know that you are one
of tens of millions of Americans who want safe, convenient places to bicycle and walk, and
that you support federal programs that fund all ways of getting around – including trails,
bicycling and walking.
