Dodge has leaked some details about its 2009 Ram 1500 pickups. The MegaCab will no longer
be offered, since it will be replaced by a new crew cab. Other available features on the
new Ram include a trailer sway control, a heated rear seat and steering wheel, and RamBox
“store in floor” cargo bins along with Sirius backseat live TV. Underneath the vehicle, a
multilink/coil-spring rear suspension will provide improved ride quality. A more powerful
version of the V-8 Hemi will be offered, and a new diesel engine is coming soon.
