Keeping Guests Comfortable
With views of nearby Ellison Lake and towering trees fringing the property, Holiday Park Resort helps guests get in touch with nature. But nobody has to rough it. The resort’s amenities help guests unwind in an unhurried, friendly environment. Active guests can hit the golf course or pickleball courts. Hit the two pools or simply bask in the northern sun (during the warm months, at least).
A patio, cocktail lounge, recreation room, and pavilion help guests socialize. For four-legged travelers, an enclosed dog run lets them stretch their legs.

That sense of easy living extends to campers. Full-hookup sites offer 50-amp power; back-in sites are 30×75 feet. A table is at each site to help guests keep the party going. Big rigs are welcome at the resort. No RV? Cabins and park models with kitchens are available for rental.
Practical needs can be met with onsite showers, laundry facilities, and restrooms. The store sells groceries and liquid propane.
Getting Active
Within steps of your lodgings, you’ll find a wide array of recreation choices. Adjacent to the resort, Ellison Lake offers kayaking, paddleboat rentals, and canoeing. Follow the nature trails that snake around the park for a leisurely stroll.

Surrounding the resort, the Okanagan Valley is a delight for anyone who loves scenic drives, fresh flavors, and easygoing outdoor fun. Centered on shimmering Okanagan Lake, this rugged valley even hosts Canada’s only desert and a patchwork of wineries and fruit farms that invite lingering lunches, tasting flights, and memorable dinners. It’s British Columbia at its finest.
Taste the Valley
Throughout the growing season, roadside stands brim with “just-picked” fruit — cherries peak from late June into summer, and families happily spend afternoons canning and sharing harvests right from their campsites. Wineries from Osoyoos through Penticton and up to Kelowna pair gorgeous views with tasting rooms and on-site restaurants, so whether you want a casual lunch or a special evening out, you’ll find delicious, locally rooted fare.

Lake Life and Lazy Floats
The lakes are the heart of Okanagan recreation. Bring your boat or rent one to explore glassy waters and rocky coves, or float the Penticton River for a mellow 4‑mile drift — bring your own flotation device for free or rent one nearby. The water’s calm pace is perfect for families and daydreamers alike.
Scenic Drives and Sweet Stops
Kelowna sits above Lake Skaha and Lake Okanagan, with stunning mountain-and-water panoramas. Tickleberry’s in Okanagan Falls is a must for indulgent ice cream, and the Osoyoos Desert Model Railroad to the south is an unexpectedly huge and charming attraction.
Mountain Adventure
Seeking out-of-this-world mountain adventure? Banff National Park is a four-hour drive northeast of Holiday Park Resort. Just across the border in Alberta, this rugged wonderland offers great hiking, biking, and paddling during the warm-weather months, and stellar skiing during winter.
