If you’re a veteran off-roader or overlander, you’ve no doubt heard of ARB. The company has made accessories for a wide variety of trucks, Jeeps, Land Rovers, and other vehicles for more than 50 years, including upgraded suspensions, rugged bumpers, and air compressors. It even makes a line of rooftop tents, awnings, and other shelters. But now, with the introduction of the ARB Earth Camper, it is dipping its toe into the RV space for the first time, and the new rig looks like a winner.

The video above, which comes our way courtesy of the XGRiD Campers YouTube channel, provides an excellent overview of everything this overlanding trailer brings to the table. That includes a rugged single-piece exoskeleton that is reinforced with a fiberglass polymer that makes it durable enough to take on just about any trail. That body is supported by a set of heavy-duty shocks, an extended-length trailing arm, and Maxxis all-terrain tires  that gives it a smooth, stable ride with excellent traction. And despite its compact and nimble design, the Earth Camper offers a surprising amount of onboard storage, making it easy to bring all of your important gear.

Inside, the ARB Earth Camper comes with a queen-size bed and a generous amount of LED lighting to help keep the cabin well illuminated. A slide-out outdoor kitchen includes a two-burner stove, a pantry, and ample space for meal prep, while a 12V energy-efficient mini-fridge keeps food and beverages fresh and cold. The trailer also features a 37-gallon freshwater tank, two 11 lbs. propane tanks, a 120W solar panel, and a 100Ah lithium battery that allow owners to stay off-grid for extended periods of time.

But what truly sets the Earth Camper apart from the competition is its fold-out rear living area. At the touch of a button, owners can deploy a tent-like structure that extends the living area to the outdoors and provides a private space at the campsite. This unique feature even includes a hard floor that adds stability and protection from the ground. When not in use, the tent neatly folds back into a hatch at the rear of the camper for easy storage and transport. Optional add-ons include a water heater and shower, a diesel furnace, a second lithium battery, and more.

The YouTube clip above shows off all of these features, and much more, including video of the Earth Camper performing like a champ on some rough trails. As you’ll see, this new rig looks incredibly promising for the overland crowd, delivering some clever ideas and fresh design elements to that increasingly competitive space.
