Axiom RV is Setting a New Standard for the RV Industry

The fifth-wheel manufacturer has some seriously impressive rigs for the luxury space.

While Axiom RV is a relative newcomer to the RV space, it has already left an indelible impression on customers and competitors alike. Founded in early 2025 by industry vets AJ Jones, John Jones, and Tom Ison, the company’s goal is to build the best luxury fifth-wheel models on the market. And although it has only been a year since the brand came out of stealth, it’s safe to say it is doing some very interesting and innovative things.

Since its inception, the three founders have touted their vast experience in the RV industry, which totals more than 60 years collectively. But they’ve also been quick to point out that they’re looking to do something new in the space, bringing fresh ideas that often break with traditional design and construction methods. The results so far have been nothing short of spectacular, as we recently saw firsthand at the Florida RV SuperShow.

Axiom Imperium Fifth-Wheel

The Axiom Imperium is Axiom’s flagship model, oozing luxury and sophistication. The large towable makes an amazing first impression with an exterior that is unlike anything else on the market. That’s due in part to its striking black and white fiberglass body, but the rig’s four slide-outs are equally impressive. The trailer utilizes a steel frame and vacuum-bonded Azdel walls that give it outstanding durability and a lustrous finish.

The Imperium is available in three distinct floor plans that include the 33’ 11” I2900, the 41’ 11” I3800, and the 42’ 11” I3900. Each has its own distinct interior design, although they also have some things in common. For instance, all three feature a central living room space with two massive couches and an ottoman that converts to a table. Bedrooms include king-size beds, while the bathrooms are spacious and spa-like. The kitchen is located in the rear of all three models and is as well-equipped as you would expect from a luxury RV.

Our favorite of the three layouts is the Imperium I3900, which comes with several standout features. This bath-and-a-half model has a gigantic primary bedroom suite, with a private bathroom and plenty of storage space. It also happens to have a slide-out patio accessible through a set of sliding doors, although a second deck can be found off the rear of the trailer. A 65” TV provides entertainment in the living room, which includes a massive L-shaped lounge and a second couch along one wall, adjacent to a table with free-standing chairs. In other words, this rig is essentially an upscale apartment on wheels, with all of the luxuries you could ask for.

But it isn’t just the creative design that makes these RVs stand out. Everything about them exudes quality, from the way they are built to the sumptuous fabrics, materials, and furnishings used throughout the cabin. Compared to just about everything else on the market right now, this is an elevated experience, which is especially impressive considering the company is barely a year old.

Axiom Vendetta Toy Hauler

The Axiom Vendetta is what you get when you take all of the design insight, upscale build quality, and luxurious features found in the Imperium, but apply it to a toy hauler instead. This model is at least as impressive as its sibling, with plenty of unique elements of its own to allow it to stand out. That’s most noticeable in the 14’ 6” garage, which offers plenty of room for e-bikes, motorcycles, ATVs, a golf cart, and just about anything else you want to bring along on your adventure.

The Vendetta is available in two floor plans, although there are some intriguing options that allow both to be customized to fit your specific needs. Both the V4250 and V4250SP stretch 47’ 2” in length, with each variant equipped with a rear ramp that converts to a deck. The SP layouts also include a side patio off the garage for added outdoor space. And like the Imperium, these interiors are open, modern, and inviting, with dual sofas in the living room, sleek kitchens, spacious primary bedrooms, and 1.5 bathrooms. Lofted bunks add additional sleeping space, and one of the couches can be swapped out in favor of a dining table and theater seating instead.

The exterior of the Vendetta strikes an imposing profile, answering the question “what kind of RV would Batman own?” It is sleek and modern, with just the right mix of black and white colors to create an appealing contrast. And like the Imperium, it also doesn’t resemble anything else at the campground, which will surely make other RVers stand up and take notice when it comes rolling in.

Buzz-Worthy RVs

With their eye-catching exteriors, luxurious interiors, and upscale materials and furnishings, it is safe to say the Axiom fifth-wheels are certainly turning heads. At the Tampa show, there was a lot of chatter surrounding this brand, to the point where other manufacturers were asking us what we thought about these fifth-wheels. The general sense we got at the show was that everyone was impressed and were maybe even taking a few notes.

Axiom has covered a lot of ground over the past year, even building out a growing dealer network across the country. The brand will also be appearing at a number of other upcoming RV shows, giving even more potential customers the chance to see what they’re cooking. Starting a new RV company is never easy and always comes with some growing pains, but Axiom looks like it’s on the right track and is creating a stir in the industry. We definitely can’t wait to see what comes next and how the leadership team finds new ways to elevate the luxury fifth-wheel space.
