High Desert RV Park puts guests close to the rugged landscapes and ancient heritage of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Located close to Interstate 48 on the west side of the city, the nine-acre park boasts state-of-the-art amenities amid timeless desert traditions and historical sites. In the nearby city, casinos, Americana attractions, outdoor adventure, and excellent restaurants cater to guests.
RVers stay in one of the 76 roomy sites within the gated park, each with a picnic table, plenty of room for slide-outs, and access to free Wi-Fi. Max site length is 64 feet, and guests can reserve pull-through sites. Travelers have access to a host of amenities, including clean and semi-private restrooms and showers, laundry facilities, and spacious pet areas. Car vacuum cleaners and propane on sale provide convenience. Paved roads connect it all.

The park’s activity center is a great place for billiards, cards, watching TV, or playing pinball. Campers who arrive at the park at its 8 p.m. closing time can use the automated system. Don’t have a reservation? No problem; you can pay at a self-check-in screen and receive a code for the entrance gate or shower building via email. The Wi-Fi password is also sent that way.

Albuquerque Awaits
After settling into High Desert RV Park, tourists can explore Albuquerque, where centuries of history blend seamlessly with vibrant modern-day charm. Wander through Old Town and be transported back in time as you explore Pueblo-style architecture, the city’s first church, and a stunning collection of New Mexican art displayed in local galleries. Dive deeper into the region’s Native American heritage with visits to the Petroglyph National Monument or the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, where ancient designs etched into volcanic rocks tell stories that stretch back thousands of years.

For a truly breathtaking experience, take a ride on the Sandia Peak Tramway, which ascends to the 10,378-foot summit of the Sandia Mountains. As the longest tramway in North America, it offers jaw-dropping views of Albuquerque and beyond.
