In our Friday RV news round-up last week, we mentioned that Forest River had announced the all-new East to West College Avenue motorhome. Now, just a few days later, we get to take a closer look at this exciting Class C model courtesy of the video above. As you’ll see, the rig packs a lot of features and amenities into a reasonably sized package, making it an approachable option that is easy and fun to drive, without skimping on comfort and styling.

Currently available in six unique floor plans, the East to West College Avenue—named after the street in Goshen, IN, where Forest River was first founded—has something to offer just about everyone. Sizes range from as small as 23′ 10″ all the way up to 32′ 6″, with room to sleep four to six people depending on the layout. For simplicity’s sake, most models slide-free, although two floor plans (the 2201S and 2951OK) do come with slides for those looking for a bit of extra space. All versions ride on the Ford E-450 chassis, which includes a 7.3L V8 engine with a six-speed transmission, giving it 325 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque.

The floor plan shown in the video above is the College Avenue 2201S. This three-season coach does have one slide-out in the bedroom, which makes more space for the queen-size bed. A second sleep space is found in the cabover area, and the dinette also converts to a bed for more guests. A surprisingly roomy bathroom is located behind a sliding door, with a separate sink found outside the lavatory itself for easy access. The kitchen includes a round stainless steel sink with a high-rise faucet, a three-burner cooktop, a convection microwave oven, and a 12V refrigerator. Solid surface countertops, Azdel composite wall construction, a tankless water heater, heated holding tanks, and a quiet 4500W generator (larger models get a 6000W model) all come standard.
