The amount of information contained in the Campground Guide is truly staggering. The 2023 edition includes profiles of more than 12,000 private RV parks, public campgrounds, and services, including over 2,000 Good Sam Parks. All told, that encompasses more than 300,000 campground ratings and map updates, making this a must-have book for RVers.
The 88th edition of the guidebook features a new, cleaner design that is easier to use than in the past. It includes more detailed full-page images to frame each new section of the tome and special features spotlighting specific destinations such as Glacier National Park, Joshua Tree, and other iconic locations. Readers will even find expert suggestions for restaurants, bars, outdoor activities, and events provided by contributing authors who write the new Wildsam field guides.

Some of the money-saving coupons that come with the book include a $30 discount on a retail purchase of $200 or more at Camping World and an extra 10% off any clearance items. Readers will also receive 20% off bikes, 10% off new appliances, and 15% off heaters and fire pits. They can also take $1,000 off the purchase of a new RV and get three coupons for a free night’s stay at a campground. That alone is valued at $75 and more than covers the price of the guide.
The 2023 Good Sam North American Campground Guide is available now at Camping World. The book is priced at $13.95 for Good Sam members and $39.95 for non-members, providing further incentive for signing up for the service.
