  • Hyundai Made a Camper Van: Hot on the heels of Japanese automaker Honda announcing an upcoming travel trailer, Korean car conglomerate Hyundai is dipping its toe into the camper van space. This week, the company revealed its Staria Camper Concept in Europe, showing off a Class B model that includes an 800W all-electric powertrain with up to 250 miles of range. It also comes with a pop-up rooftop tent, a water filtration system, a lounge that folds flat to create a bed, and a galley kitchen complete with sink and mini-fridge. The camper looks sleek, fun, and well equipped, but the Staria van platform is only available in Europe and Asia, so it isn’t likely to make its way stateside. Still, it is fun to dream…

  • The Dyrt Launches 2026 Camping Report: In what has become somewhat of an annual tradition, The Dyrt—an online campsite discovery platform—has shared its Camping Report for 2026. The report is the result of an extensive survey of Dyrt members, a sample of the broader American populace, and camping property owners from across the country. As usual, we’ll get a regular trickle of insights and facts about the state of camping in the US in the weeks to come, but a few interesting notes from the first reveal include the fact that 2.6 million people went camping for the first time in 2025 and 82.4 million people overall, which is the second largest ever recorded by the data collectors. Also, RV camping remains the most popular option for, well, obvious reasons. Find out more here.

  • Roadmaster Wants to Protect the Bed of Your Truck: Roadmaster, a company best known for its line of RV towing products, has announced a new line of products designed to protect an often-overlooked part of your pickup. The brand’s new Front Bed Protector installs at the front wall of the truck bed and serves as a buffer against sliding cargo that could shift about in transit, causing damage due to sudden stops. The first iteration of the new product is designed with Ford F-Series trucks in mind, but Roadmaster says versions for Chevy and Ram trucks are in the works.

You’re in luck, as this week, RVshare announced that it is now offering one-way rentals, allowing customers to pick up an RV in one place, spend time traveling in the vehicle, then drop it off at a different destination. The company says that according to its research, 71% of travelers indicate they would be more likely to rent an RV if they didn’t have to return to their starting point.
