TAXA Outdoors Wants to Pay You to Go Camping This Summer
The Trailer Manufacturer is Looking for New Additions to its TAXA Camp Team
If you love to go camping and have no plans for the summer, TAXA Outdoors just might have the perfect job for you. The company is looking to add new members to its Camp Team and send them off on a three-month-long adventure. Duties include traveling the country and living in a TAXA Habitat while attending special events, festivals, and rallies.
The TAXA Camp Team serves as brand ambassadors for the Houston-based travel trailer manufacturer. If hired, your job will be to drive across the US in a provided vehicle while towing a TAXA camper behind. You’ll live and work out of the towable while attending events and meeting with the general public. The goal is to raise awareness of the brand and introduce its rugged, sustainably-built, off-road trailers to a broader audience.
Camp Team members’ duties include driving to the assigned locations and setting up the camper on site. They’ll also be tasked with knowing the features and amenities of the trailer and providing tours to the media and general public. The job also requires some content creation (blogs, videos, etc.) while on the summer road trip and support for the TAXA social media outlets.
The summer roadshow runs from May 15 to August 15. TAXA is offering an $8000 salary for that time period, plus a stipend for meals and other expenses. All fuel expenses are covered, as are the fees for any campsites.
Requirements include a valid driver’s license and experience in a customer service or sales-related field. They must be available for the entire roadshow—including nights and weekends—and possess basic computer skills. A warm, friendly personality is a big plus.
